Students at North Windy Ridge Intermediate have a better idea of what the future might hold, after sampling several jobs at the school’s Career Day last week. They learned what it takes to be a ghost tour operator, parademic, floral designer, and medical dosimetrist. In total, more than 50 careers and industries were represented, including culinary, automotive, and wildlife resources.

The North Windy Ridge students also got ideas on how to start preparing for careers, thanks to the North Buncombe High School FFA program. The high school students demonstrated their knowledge of caring for animals and maintaining machinery used in agriculture.
