The 24-unit apartment complex is located adjacent to Eblen Intermediate school. As Asheville grows, this project helps teachers find their place in this vibrant and supportive community. Through a collaborative effort, we can now offer our educators a home that is cost-effective, comfortable, and surrounded by other educators.
This housing opportunity is available to full-time educators employed with Buncombe County Schools and Asheville City Schools.

This unique project is a partnership between BCS, Asheville City Schools, Eblen Charities’ Center for Social Enterprise, Buncombe County, and the State Employees’ Credit Union Foundation. The campus is named after the legendary UNC basketball coach and former Charles D. Owen High coach Roy Williams and his wife Wanda, along with two former Buncombe County teachers, Roy Eugene "Buddy" Baldwin and Rosa Lee Case Baldwin.
