Parent Participation 

Parents are welcome at all times and participation is valued and encouraged. The centers will provide opportunities for parent involvement in activities with their children. To effectively involve parents, the following opportunities will be provided.

• Pre-enrollment visitation and orientation gives parents an opportunity to learn more about the Early Childhood Education program and preschool Center. Parents are welcomed and the director or lead teacher provides general information about the program.

• Parent-teacher conferences may be scheduled by the parent, lead teacher, or director. The goal of parent-teacher conferences is to discuss a child’s development and how the center can best meet the child’s needs in all areas of development.

• Parent participation in both regular and special activities is welcome. This includes daily activities and special occasions.
