The Seventh Grade Science Department at Cane Creek Middle was awarded $2000 by the Buncombe County Schools Foundation for the purchase of a human torso model. Students will be able to observe and understand the major functions of the human body - digestion, respiration, circulation, and excretion. Students will be able to remove and replace 19 body parts and organs. Learning goals of major systems of the body will be reinforced by hands-on activities with the model.
