In honor of Youth Art Month and as a SNEAK PEEK to our annual All-County BCS Art Exhibition at the Asheville Mall, we invite you to the

Youth Art Month: BCS Pop Up Art Show!

Location: County Office, Superintendent's Lobby

Come by and vote for the People's Choice Awards!

Each of our K-12 schools were invited to submit 3 works of art for this show.

Owen District Strings Performance
Enjoy an evening filled with music, good food, and great community by supporting the Charles D Owen Strings Program. Performing a wide variety of music, from Beethoven to The Beatles, and Mozart to Freddie Mercury, the evening will showcase both the Owen High and Owen Middle School Orchestra classes, performing both separately and together in a combined set.
Food will be supplied by local Black Mountain and Swannanoa establishments and will be available for a suggested donation. Come out and support these young musicians and this growing Strings Program here in the Swannanoa Valley!”

The AC Reynolds High School Mixed Chorus, Chorale and Madrigal Singers will offer their MPA selections and recognize senior members for their time in the choral program.  Admission is $5 at the door.  We will also accept non-perishable food items and monetary donations or for the Manna Food Drive we are participating in school-wide.
