Her students were able to teach the younger learners what kindergarten is all about, and lead a science activity where they made chalk together. The visit was extra special for Ms. Isabella, a college teacher doing her student teaching in Mrs. Buckner’s class. She is a former student of the Erwin Learning Lab.

Reynolds High Learning Lab made a similar visit to Mrs. Smith’s kindergarten class at Bell Elementary, where a tour of the cafeteria, gym, art room, and media center gave them a snapshot of a day in the life of a kindergartener. This visit also featured a full circle moment for Anna Green, a sign language interpreter at Bell Elementary. She was an intern in the Learning Lab when she was a student at Reynolds High School.
