The traditional gift for a 10th anniversary is wood, but in this case, woodwind would be more appropriate. The Cedar Cliffs Classic Marching Band Tournament celebrates a decade of competition Saturday, Oct. 11 at A.C. Reynolds High School.

A member of the Reynolds flag corps waves her flag in the air in front of the Reynolds low brass section dressed in band uniforms. The competition starts at 10 a.m. and features 19 high school bands from throughout the region, including four BCS programs: Owen (2:10 p.m.), North Buncombe (2:30 p.m.), T.C.
