The traditional gift for a 10th anniversary is wood, but in this case, woodwind would be more appropriate. The Cedar Cliffs Classic Marching Band Tournament celebrates a decade of competition Saturday, Oct. 11 at A.C. Reynolds High School.
The competition starts at 10 a.m. and features 19 high school bands from throughout the region, including four BCS programs: Owen (2:10 p.m.), North Buncombe (2:30 p.m.), T.C. Roberson (4:10 p.m.), and Enka (6:10 p.m.). As the host school, the Marching Rockets will perform an exhibition at 7:10 p.m., just ahead of a special guest performance from the UNCC Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band at 7:30 p.m. You can see the full schedule here.
Admission is $12 and supports the Reynolds band program. Children 5 and under get in free.
