A week before smiling students arrived on buses, some friends of Emma Elementary delivered cargo of kindness in a Subaru Forester. As teachers returned from summer break, they were greeted with giant supply boxes for every classroom, courtesy of Fred Anderson Subaru.
“This is part of our ‘Subaru Loves Learning’ initiative, and it makes our employees super happy to be out in the community supporting our teachers and helping them take care of their students,” said Scott Rossi, general manager of Fred Anderson Subaru. “We want to give our young stars of the future a great start.”
The dealership customer service team also delivered breakfast for Emma’s teachers.
“This is such a nice thing to do, and has made our school family feel so supported,” said second grade teacher Cara Pollard. “This really helps get my classroom equipped and ready to go for the new year.”
Fred Anderson Subaru also gifted each teacher with credit for school supplies on the website AdoptAClassroom.org and delivered a scrapbook with encouraging messages from customers.
