Buncombe County Schools Menus

As the largest meal provider in Western North Carolina, we take the responsibility of serving our community's children seriously.  Our team of experienced school nutrition staff members work to make meals that are healthy, affordable, and sourced through local farms and producers when possible. Welcome to the school cafeterias of today!

Meal pricing is for the 2022-2023 school year.

The prices below are for student and staff meals purchased through Buncombe County Schools cafeterias.

Student Breakfast Prices
All Grades

All students are welcome to eat breakfast every morning.

  • Full Breakfast: No Cost

  • Reduced Breakfast: No Cost

  • Adult Meals: A La Carte Pricing

  • A la carte milk: 85¢

Elementary Lunch Prices
Grades K-5

Hot and cold lunches are provided featuring a regular menu or a bag lunch. All meals include milk.

  • Full-Paying Lunch: $3.50

  • Reduced Price Lunch: No Cost

  • Adult Meals: $4.75

  • A la carte milk: 85¢

Intermediate, Middle School & High School Meal Prices
Grades 6-12

Hot and cold lunches are provided featuring a regular menu or a bag lunch. All meals include milk.

  • Intermediate Full-Paying Lunch: $3.50

  • Middle and High Full-Paying Lunch: $3.75

  • Extreme Meal Full Lunch: $4.25

  • Reduced Price Lunch: No Cost

  • Adult Meals: $4.75

  • A la carte milk: 85¢
