What is STEM?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM refers to a set of interlinked

subjects that are important for foundational concepts for kids in today’s world. STEM is an educational

curriculum that focuses heavily on these four parts. Here at Weaverville Primary, we work with our

students each week engaging them with STEM related lessons and encouraging them to explore and

understand science principles through experiments and observations.
