A pop-up art walk has opened at Asheville Mall. 

A student points to the fruit basket drawing she created.The Buncombe County Schools K-8 Art Exhibition is underway, just inside the north entrance. April 21 was Family Night, with a chance to meet many of the artists and teachers, and an opportunity for students to share their creations with their relatives. The reception also featured musical performances from Oakley, Sand-Hill Venable, and Weaverville elementary schools.
