A pop-up art walk has opened at Asheville Mall.
The Buncombe County Schools K-8 Art Exhibition is underway, just inside the north entrance. April 21 was Family Night, with a chance to meet many of the artists and teachers, and an opportunity for students to share their creations with their relatives. The reception also featured musical performances from Oakley, Sand-Hill Venable, and Weaverville elementary schools.
“This collection represents the incredible gifts of our students, and the work our teachers put into developing the talents of the young artists,” said Jaime Graeber, BCS District Arts Specialist. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share this collection with the community.”
The Art Exhibition continues through May 3.
