As part of our Leader in Me program, first graders have been discussing the gift of giving during the holiday season. They are creating cards and crafts for those less fortunate in our community. Students in Mrs. Burton’s class partnered with BeLoved Asheville to make food bags and cards for people living on the streets. The bags will be put in the two BeLoved Street Pantries located on Airport Road. Students also made cards and ornaments for residents at a local nursing home.
