On the evening of December 7th, it is a Colombian tradition to fill the streets with light! Millions of candles are lit in the towns and cities of the country to celebrate “Día de las velitas” (Day of the Little Candles). The candles and lanterns of all colors fill the night to begin the magical holiday season. In honor of this tradition, Señora Bedoya's class created their own “farolitos”(lanterns) and made a wish!
