Second graders had an amazing time on their field trip visiting The North Carolina Arboretum. Students explored the Arboretum grounds and hiked the trails while observing all of the changes that occur in fall. Students also participated in a "creek walk" and learned about the life cycles and the needs of insects, amphibians, and fish. Everyone enjoyed a beautiful fall day out in nature!
