A quartet of students performing a song.

An evening of music and connection filled the cafeteria at Charles D. Owen Middle School as the school’s Strings program hosted a special dinner performance for family and friends.

Tables were set, conversations buzzed, and the aroma of a shared meal together created a welcoming backdrop for a night centered around student talent. As guests enjoyed dinner, the spotlight shifted to the young musicians who performed in small groups and solo acts, each taking their turn to showcase the skills they’ve been building throughout the year.

From confident soloists to collaborative ensembles, the students demonstrated not only their musical growth, but also their courage and dedication. The intimate setting allowed every note to resonate, giving the audience a chance to fully appreciate the hard work behind each performance.

The evening was more than just a concert - it was a celebration of progress, passion, and community. With every bow stroke and melody, students from the Owen Middle Strings Program left a lasting impression, creating a memorable night for all who attended.
