Amidst the chaos of handing out computers and having them update... a student at Owen finds joy in the stacks and has the honor of being the first book checkout of the year ! Lo fi learning is good learning !


So many nervous freshman became happy freshman because of the warm welcome from Link Crew! The costumes were hilarious !


We are excited and honored to host an event recognizing our first responders and military !


Ask what you can do for the valley and the valley will respond with what they can do for you. OHS PTO organized a campus sprucing up and Volleyball answered the call. They are getting their "digs" in for sure! Boone's Yard Care and More answered the call from the valley providing mulch and manpower!

🎒🖍📓 This weekend, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officers and BCS staff members will be collecting school supplies at the Walmart on Hendersonville Rd. (1636 Hendersonville Rd.).
The hours are: Saturday, August 19- 10 am to 8 pm & Sunday, August 20- 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Examples of school items are as follows but not limited to:
-Book bags—lunchboxes—pencil boxes
-Binders—papers—art supplies (crayons/colored
pencils)
- Pencils—pens—markers—highlighters
- Tissues—hand sanitizer—cleaning wipes
-Water bottles—dry erase markers—plug in ear-
buds—other school related items
-Printer paper
We hope to see you there as we work together to help ALL students have a great start to the school year!


Black Mountain Bistro is an Owen PTO business partner and a great place to dine ! Indoor and outdoor seating provides a perfect setting to gather with friends and family. I strongly recommend the pie !
