Advisory Councils from all Buncombe County Schools united last month for the District Advisory Council.
Throughout the year, groups of students, parents, teachers, principals, and staff members serve at their schools to offer feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and help school leaders make informed decisions that support student success.
All the groups come together annually to offer their insight into issues impacting the entire school system. At this year’s event, participants took an in-depth look into the school budgeting process.
