Members of the BCS Teacher Advisory Council gathered again to continue learning from each other.
The group gathered last week to do a deeper dive on Elevate BCS, a new instructional framework launched this year. The council, which is made up of teachers of various grade levels and subject areas from throughout the school system, shared successful strategies they’ve used so far this school year.
The framework’s main components include a welcoming classroom environment; intentional instructional design; and a student learning experience that is cognitively engaging, meaningful, and rooted in the belief that all students can learn at high levels.
