The Buncombe County Schools Foundation hosted a mini golf tournament to celebrate and recognize the hard work of the BCS Central Services team – the often behind-the-scenes departments that keep the district’s 45 schools running smoothly.
Held at Tropical Gardens Mini Golf, the spirited event brought together 18 teams representing a wide range of departments, including Transportation, Technology, Child Nutrition, CTE, Communications, Student Services, Human Resources, and more.
Participants embraced the fun by dressing up and showing off their team spirit. From matching outfits to creative themes, each team brought their A-game to the green.
“This event was all about connection and celebration,” said BCSF Executive Director, Christy Cheek. “Our central services staff work behind the scenes to ensure BCS has what they need to be successful. , This was a chance to bring everyone together, have some fun, and recognize the vital roles they play in supporting our schools.”
The event offered a chance for friendly competition, a moment of appreciation, and central services team building. It was the best day!
