BCS is set to expand distance learning opportunities by launching a fully virtual option for sixth- through twelfth-graders.

This fall, BCS plans to expand distance learning opportunities by launching a fully virtual option for sixth- through twelfth-graders.

Buncombe County Schools Virtual Academy (BCSVA) will add more flexible scheduling and personalized learning options for current students and provide a new virtual learning option for area homeschool students to take two or more virtual courses at no cost to the family.

While their classes will be taken online, participating homeschool students will be enrolled in the Virtual Academy through the Buncombe County school in their community.

Space will be limited. Interested families may visit virtual.buncombeschools.org to learn more about this exciting new option and submit a pre-application form.
