Grateful for the Cops for Kids Program

The Weaverville Police Department's annual holiday toy drive, Cops for Kids, will look a little different this year, but they are still committed to supporting students in Weaverville!

The Weaverville Police Department's annual holiday toy drive, Cops for Kids, will look a little different this year, but officers are still committed to supporting students in Weaverville! 

This is the 18th year for this fundraiser. Instead of collecting toys, clothes, and other similar donations, WPD will be accepting monetary donations only. The donations will be used to purchase items based on the specific needs of children at Weaverville Elementary School and Weaverville Primary School.

According to Sgt. Andy Mace, because of the overwhelming support from the Weaverville community, this program has gone from raising $438 in its first year to raising over $20,000 each of the past several years!

Cash donations are welcome or send checks payable to Weaverville Police Department with Cops for Kids in the memo. Please feel free to contact Sgt.
