Join superintendent Dr. Tony Baldwin and our community in honoring the 2021 Top Scholars of Buncombe County Schools. The special virtual presentation will premiere at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 10.

The presentation will be accessible on our district website, Facebook, and YouTube channels.

The Top Scholar designation celebrates the academic success of the highest achievers in Buncombe County’s public high schools. Our Top Scholars earned the highest Grade Point Averages in their respective schools and will graduate among the top of each class.

"Congratulations on your academic achievements that you have obtained in order to be recognized as a Top Scholar in your high school," said Superintendent Dr. Tony Baldwin to this year's award recipients. "Every senior class is unique, but you, the Class of 2021, have excelled despite the ongoing disruptions we faced this school year."

As we continue to navigate this historic season of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have reimagined some of our favorite traditions in an online format for the safety of our students, staff, and community. This includes our 2021 Top Scholar Awards Banquet. However, these circumstances will not prevent us from celebrating the great accomplishments of the Class of 2021.

Congratulations to our 2021 Top Scholars!
