A.C. Reynolds Middle School (ACRMS) is recognizing outstanding students with a tasty reward. The school recently started a Student of the Week program. Teachers from each grade level submit names of their students who are meeting expectations and actively engaging in class. Student names are drawn from the raffle and the winners receive hand-delivered Chik-fil-A lunches!
“I think that any time we have the opportunity to celebrate what our students are doing we must take it,” said ACRMS Assistant Principal Cathy Haughney. “Students have weathered quite a storm this year, and seeing them get recognized for hard work is extra special- acknowledgment is encouraging!”
An ACRMS parent praised the school’s leadership in creating these important connections with students and fostering a strong sense of community. School administrators say they will continue this reward program each Friday for the rest of the school year!
Also, thanks to the Reynolds District Board Member Cindy McMahon for helping to celebrate our students!
