We asked our Nutrition staff what drives them to tirelessly serve children and families in all circumstances.

Since March of this year, one constant has been change. Another has been the heroic efforts of the Buncombe County Schools Nutrition team.

We asked our Nutrition staff what drives them to tirelessly serve children and families day after day, week after week, and in all circumstances. This is what they had to say: “It’s love.”

“Our Buncombe County School Nutrition family takes great pride and joy in preparing and serving meals to Buncombe County Schools students,“ said award-winning Child Nutrition Director Lisa Payne. "We are here to nourish their minds, bodies, and souls daily."

BCS Nutrition is here for you.
