At tonight’s BCS Board of Education meeting, the board voted on a motion to revise our Return to Learn plans after hearing from our re-entry subcommittees, stakeholder feedback, and our local public health experts.
High school students who have chosen Plan B will return to in-person learning two days per week beginning
October 19. Students will attend in-person on the same A/B schedule* as our K-8 students, who will remain on the current A/B in-person rotation.
Wednesdays will remain a remote-only learning day for ALL students.
Our high school administrators will follow up with families with more scheduling details.
Please know that all of these plans are subject to change depending on health conditions in our schools and COVID-19 metrics in our community. We continue to work closely with local health officials and will follow their guidance in this matter.
If you chose remote-only for your child this semester, this update will not affect you.
*Current A/B Rotation:
Group A will attend class on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be remote learning days.
Group B will attend class on Thursday and Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be remote learning days.
