BCS Students Shine at Math Competition

Middle and high school students from several BCS schools had strong showings at the 48th annual Western Carolina University Mathematics Contest last month.

About 400 students from 27 schools in the region competed for individual and team awards by taking grade-appropriate exams at the university on March 21. Those who received certificates of merit at the WCU contest will be eligible to participate in the state finals.
