BCS Teams Make State Playoffs

Expectations are high for Buncombe County Schools’ baseball, softball and soccer teams as they enter the NCHSAA playoffs on Wednesday.

Four teams (A.C Reynolds baseball, North Buncombe softball, T.C. Roberson soccer, and Charles D. Owen soccer) are coming off conference championships in their hunt for state titles.

“Congratulations to all the Buncombe County athletic teams that have earned the right to participate in the NCHSAA playoffs,” said David Ball, BCS district athletic specialist. “Good luck to all the coaches and athletes. Go and make special memories and represent your schools and communities with pride!”
