Student Art Show at Asheville Mall
Posted on 04/20/2018
The annual art show presented by Buncombe County Schools is held this year from March 26 through May 6, 2018.BCS Communications Dept.

The greater Asheville area is known for the quality of artists who live here, and their work draws thousands upon thousands of visitors and collectors throughout the year. So, it is no surprise that the students in Buncombe County Schools are full of artistic talents in the areas of painting, sculpture, fibers, jewelry, drawing, and more, and our fine arts educators continually work to help young artists find their interests and develop new skills.

The public is invited to personally see the hard work of our student-artists at the K12 Student Art Show, now on display at the Asheville Mall near Sears/Dillard's. The annual art show presented by Buncombe County Schools runs from March 26 through May 6, 2018. Currently featured is the artwork of high school artists, which was judged by category on April 16. Congratulations to our award-winning students!

The Elementary/Intermediate/Middle School Art Exhibit featured art from kindergarten through eighth-graders until April 15. The exhibit also included work by students from the Progressive Education Program.

The public is invited to visit the art exhibits during regular mall hours.
