Doris Sellers, the principal of A.C. Reynolds High School and 2017 Buncombe County Schools (BCS) Principal of the Year, has gone on to earn the distinction of being named the North Carolina Western Region Principal of the Year.

 “This certainly is an honor for me,” says Mrs. Sellers. “I look forward to representing A.C. Reynolds High School, Buncombe County Schools, and our region at the state level to show the strength of public education. I proudly say that I am a product of Buncombe County Schools, and I have enjoyed a 28-year career as a math teacher and administrator in BCS. I will continue to advocate for our students to have the opportunity to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts through the programs offered in our schools.”
