In this section of our web site we’ve compiled general guidelines regarding developmental milestones—physical, mental, social and academic—that are likely to occur among children at certain ages and grade levels. Please keep in mind that every child is different, and that they mature and progress at different rates as well. These guidelines can help you know what to expect among children of various ages, and when to seek additional advice if your child’s progress appears out of the realm of normalcy for a given stage of development.
