BCS Benefits Overview

Buncombe County Schools is proud to offer a robust selection of benefits to our employees. Eligible staff have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement and savings account options like 401k, 403b, and more. Employee Benefits Eligibility
• BCS employees in full-time, permanent positions are eligible to receive full-time benefits. Full-time means at least 30 hours per week. Permanent means at least six (6) full, consecutive months of employment or anticipation of permanent employment.
• Employees in part-time, permanent positions are eligible to receive part-time benefits. Part-time means at least 20 hours per week. Permanent means at least six (6) full, consecutive months of employment or anticipation of permanent employment.
