Eighteen accomplished Buncombe County Schools (BCS) students have been accepted into the prestigious Governor’s School of North Carolina for 2022. This program is an annual academic residential program for high-achieving high school students. Those students are nominated by their schools and selected to attend by the Board of Governors. Students are chosen based on their academic or performing/visual arts aptitude.
