Seasons greetings to our Buncombe County Schools family! This is Superintendent Dr. Tony Baldwin.

As we enter our winter break, I want to thank our families, educators, staff, and, of course, our students, for their patience, persistence, and teamwork as we’ve returned to in-person learning this school year.

I’ve had the opportunity to visit all 44 of our campuses throughout the fall, and I am pleased to say that high-quality instruction is taking place inside classrooms across the entire district. It has been refreshing to see our community schools continually buzzing with academic, athletic, and fine arts activities. Thanks for doing your part to keep our schools safe and healthy.

There is certainly much to look forward to as we begin a new year and semester. But first, I hope you have a restful and meaningful winter break and holiday season.

From our Buncombe County Schools family to yours, Happy Holidays.
