At last night’s Regular Board meeting, the Buncombe County Board of Education approved Superintendent Dr. Tony Baldwin’s recommendation of Carleene Finger as the inaugural principal of Enka Intermediate School, slated to open in August for the 2016-17 school year. Finger has been a principal in Buncombe County since 2008, having served in that capacity at Leicester Elementary School since 2011.
